Good Horns
Aquilasax Horns are good looking good sounding, sturdy, well engineered and well finished with features usually found on more expensive instruments. The new curved sop arrived yesterday, Many Thanks! I'm very pleased with it. It is 100% in tune and has a great balance across the whole range - it's a joy to play. I've being playing it with a Selmer Super Session mouthpiece (Rico Royal reed) and it sounds amazing!

The Aquilla Flute is both highly playable and professional in quality. The Flutes tone is excellent and plays smoothly allowing for consistant and defined notes even when playing in higher octaves.  Compared with the Yamaha Flute the Aquilla Flute is lighter in weight allowing the musican to play comfortably for any amount of time, which makes The Aquilla Flute is a great choice for any player whether novice or experienced.

I just received the black alto the other day. I am very impressed with this saxophone. It plays very easy from top to bottom, and is very similar to my yamaha 62ll. I am looking forward to the new c soprano to add to my collection.

 Aquilasax Altos

These well-engineered saxophones have smooth ergonomic design, high F# key and mother of pearl inlays on the F# trill as well as the usual keys. Made with lead free brass and double ribbed for extra strength, with bow clamp to facilitate ding repairs. They feature built in adjustment for the pressure on the auxiliary F pad. One of the first signs of wear on any sax is cork compression on the auxiliary keys. This problem can make playing low notes difficult. This problem will go away with the turn of a screw on Aquilasax saxophones. These free blowing saxes also feature beautiful fine floral hand engraving and adjustable thumb hook! Aquilasax for a better beginning!

Bright Nickel Silver Alto


Hi Steve,
Horn arrived today.(Bb Soprano) 7 days!  Very handsome work.  It plays very well.  I have a Selmer Mark VI (136xxx) that I am about to sell and I played them back and forth for about an hour to get a sense of the differences in tone color,  feel and articulation etc.  I have to say, of course the Mark VI has a richer character throughout the horn - but your horn comes damn close - for a tenth of the cost!  And I prefer the action and key ergonomics on your horn.  A job well done!

Tenor recorder in C. Requires large hands or long fingers to reach the tone holes. Ebony and ivory look plastic.

Trumpet in C

This beeautiful trumpet is bright nickel plated for long lasting finish. Comes in a hard shell case with # 7 mouthpiece silver plated.

Features adjustable thumb rest. Fine lead pipe, robust valves and above all, fantastic tone. I had a trumpet player check it out for me and play a bit. Full rich sparkley tone. Almost enough to make me learn trumpet.

I got myself a new guitar for Christmas. A jazz style hollowbody electric with Korean made humbuckers and American maple fretboard. You can order guitars with specified hard ware from MOTONE MUSIC in Beijing. They make the bodies and assemble and test to order.
